1. Introduction

Welcome to R&R Solar ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") govern your use of our website and services located at randrsolarroofs.com (together or individually "Service") operated by R&R Solar.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. Services

R&R Solar provides specialized solar panel removal, reinstallation, and maintenance services for residential and commercial clients throughout Utah. Our services include:

• Solar panel removal for roof repairs or replacements
• Solar panel reinstallation after roof work is completed
• Solar system assessment and inspection
• Maintenance and cleaning services
• System efficiency verification

2.1 Service Area

Our services are available throughout Utah, including but not limited to Salt Lake City, Provo, Ogden, and surrounding areas. Additional travel fees may apply for locations outside our primary service area.

3. Appointments and Scheduling

Appointments for services can be scheduled through our website, by email, or by phone. We strive to accommodate your preferred time and date, but scheduling is subject to availability.

3.1 Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations (less than 48 hours' notice) may incur a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the quoted service price.

3.2 Weather Conditions

Solar panel removal and reinstallation services are weather-dependent for safety reasons. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to inclement weather conditions without penalty to either party.

4. Pricing and Payments

Pricing for our services is based on several factors, including system size, roof type, accessibility, and complexity of the installation. We provide detailed quotes before beginning any work.

4.1 Quotes and Estimates

All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. Quotes are based on the information provided and visual inspection when applicable. If additional work is required that was not apparent during the initial assessment, we will discuss this with you before proceeding.

4.2 Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows:

• A deposit of 50% of the total quoted price is required to schedule and secure your service date
• The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service
• For projects exceeding $5,000, a payment schedule may be established

We accept payment via credit card, check, or electronic bank transfer.

4.3 Late Payments

Payments not received according to the agreed-upon terms may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance. Continued non-payment may result in the placement of a lien on the property in accordance with Utah state law.

5. Workmanship and Warranty

R&R Solar is committed to providing high-quality service and workmanship in all our solar panel removal and reinstallation projects.

5.1 Workmanship Warranty

We provide a 1-year workmanship warranty on all reinstallation services. This warranty covers any issues directly related to our removal and reinstallation work, including:

• Water intrusion due to improper reinstallation
• Electrical connection issues from our workmanship
• Mounting hardware failures resulting from our installation

5.2 Warranty Exclusions

Our workmanship warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by extreme weather events, acts of God, or force majeure
• Pre-existing equipment defects or manufacturer issues
• Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs
• Normal wear and tear
• Issues related to the roof warranty or workmanship (covered by your roofing contractor)

5.3 Equipment Warranty

Original manufacturer warranties for solar panels and equipment remain in effect and are separate from our workmanship warranty. We will provide documentation and assist with any warranty claims for equipment when applicable.

6. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure efficient and safe service, customers are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information about their solar system
• Ensuring access to the property on scheduled service dates
• Removing obstacles that may impede access to solar panels
• Informing us of any special conditions or requirements
• Securing necessary permits if required by local regulations

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, R&R Solar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use our services
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the services
• Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our service

Our liability is limited to the total amount you paid for the specific service in question.

8. Insurance and Licensing

R&R Solar maintains comprehensive business liability insurance and all required licenses to perform solar panel services in Utah. Proof of insurance and licensing is available upon request.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of R&R Solar and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of R&R Solar.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through informal negotiation, both parties agree to binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules in Utah.

14. Force Majeure

R&R Solar shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.
